Ingredients:
Dough - for bread machine
- 1 cup flat beer (I used Moosehead Lager)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Pinch dried rosemary
- 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast (1 packet)
- 12 oz tomato paste
- 1-1/2 cup warm water
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1-1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes (optional)
- salt to taste (I used 1 teaspoon Nature's Seasons)
Toppings
- Fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Fresh fontinella cheese, shredded
- Whatever you like best! (we went with half pepperoni this time)
Directions:
- Whisk tomato paste and water together in a large mixing bowl.
- Add rest of ingredients and whisk until smooth.
- Refrigerate until needed.
- Meanwhile, add beer, butter, sugar, salt, flour, seasonings, and yeast to bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer.

- Select Dough setting, and press Start. Remove dough from bread machine when cycle is complete.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Roll or press dough to cover a prepared pizza pan. Brush lightly with olive oil. Cover and let stand 15 minutes.
- Prebake crust in preheated oven for about 5 minutes, or until it just begins to brown.
- Remove from oven and spread sauce and fresh shredded cheeses on top; add other toppings as desired.
- Bake until outer crust is crisp and golden and cheese is bubbly. Enjoy!
